My PDI has been offline for two days now. The banner states:
Developer Instance is undergoing unscheduled maintenance.
Anyone have any ideas what the issue might be?

Hello @mpmacconnell,
That usually means the instance is temporarily down on ServiceNow’s side ,not something you can fix. It may come back once maintenance completes. If it’s been offline for more than 24–48 hours, try reclaiming or requesting a new PDI from the Developer Portal > Manage page.
Also, make sure you always keep your work in update sets so you don’t lose configurations or scripts if the instance needs to be replaced.
Thanks & Regards,
Muhammad Iftikhar

I've been using PDI without any issues since this morning, . Here are some points to consider:
- There is no support available for PDI.
- If you can wait, let's wait a bit longer.
- You can release this instance and start a new one, but you will lose your previous data. To avoid losing update sets in the future, make sure to take regular backups of your PDI.
There have been 3-4 posts in the community today about PDI failures or unavailability. Based on the responses, you might need to wait 1-2 days and hopefully, the PDI will be back online.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

Unfortunately, PDIs are not supported and you cannot do much to resolve the issue. If you want the same instance, wait for few more days and see if it available again. If it is still not accessible, release the instance and provision a new instance.
Always backup update sets and maintain source control for such unforeseen scenarios in future.
As per community guidelines, you can accept more than one answer as accepted solution. If my response helped to answer your query, please mark it helpful & accept the solution.
