Hi all,
As a business requirement, I want to populate the RIDAC records on Strategic Portfolio Workspace in ServiceNow. Also, while searching for this requirement, I've found one image in which the RIDAC record is clearly visible on SPW, but once I am going to search in my client instance, I am unable to find it. Please let me know either this is offered by paid plugin or is there any system property behind this.
Thanks and Regards,
Pranjal

Hi Pranjal,
The RIDAC view is part of Strategic Planning Workspace. I would first verify that the Strategic Planning application (sn_apw_advanced) is installed and entitled on the client instance.
Then check the user's roles:
- sn_align_ws.ridac_read_only — read access
- sn_align_ws.ridac_user — create/edit/manage RIDAC
The roles sn_align_core.apw_user, sn_apw_advanced.spw_goal_user, and sn_apw_advanced.eap_user include the appropriate RIDAC access.
If the application and roles are correct but RIDAC is still not visible, compare the Strategic Planning application version between the two instances and then check the Strategic Planning Workspace navigation/configuration.
You can check application/entitlement >> roles >> application version >> workspace configuration in that order rather than looking for a system property.
Note: sn_pw.disable_ridac_monitor is a current property, but it applies to the Project Workspace's legacy “All RIDAC” grid, not to the RIDAC visibility issue in Strategic Planning Workspace.

Hi @sachinvic
Strategic Planning (sn_apw_advanced) is already enabled but the role which you have discussed is not available in my instance. I attached the image for the reference there is no role which contains Ridac in my instance.
Also you've mentioned a system property for Project workspace which is also not available in my instance.
Do I need to buy another plugin, or what is the root cause of this issue?

These are part of the Strategic Planning/Portfolio Planning role model. ServiceNow documentation also references sn_align_core.apw_user for Strategic Planning Workspace access.
If none of the RIDAC roles exist in your instance, I would not create them manually or purchase another plugin yet. First verify that the Portfolio Planning (sn_align_ws) application and its dependencies are installed correctly, in addition to sn_apw_advanced. There have been cases where the Strategic Planning/Portfolio Planning roles were not created correctly after installation.
https://www.servicenow.com/community/spm-forum/spm-user-roles-not-installed/td-p/3270124/page/2
You can check:
System Applications > All Available Applications
- verify Portfolio Planning
- verify application version/dependencies
- check whether sn_align_core.apw_user and the RIDAC roles are present.
If the required roles are still missing after confirming the applications and dependencies, repairing/reinstalling the relevant application or raising a ServiceNow Support case would be the safer approach rather than manually creating OOTB roles.
So, based on the screenshot, you can investigate the Portfolio Planning/application installation and dependencies first; I wouldn't conclude that another paid plugin is required.
