Send email notification for when a new change is created

Hello Experts

I would like to be able to send an email when a change is created and Requested by is System Administrator and Category is System Software

then I will like to send an email notification to the submitted to notify them that their change is now with the change team

The email template should be something like this

Your change has been submitted "Requested by field" and "Number" pulled and polluted from the change request has been received by the change team. A change manager will contact you shortly to discuss. Thank you.

Hi @June Anderson , you can set condition on notification under 'When to Send' section. Here is the docs link on how to create notifications:

You can also create email template with adding dynamic data like Requested By,... and associate with notifications:

I have watched the video and followed directions on the link you sent, however after creating my notification and testing, I do get the email but the message on the email is different from what I am expecting to see, what did I do wrong?

@June Anderson , can you share the email notification config - What it will contain screenshot?

Have you confirmed the email triggered is the one you want? - you can go to System mailboxes-->Outbound-->Sent and open the email record that got triggered and scroll down to Email Log related list and there you can see the name of the notification that triggered the email.
