Service Portal Banner Announcement with audiences

Hi everyone,

I have a Service Portal that requires an announcement. I tried to configure one in Service Now using the type "Banner" and it's displaying correctly at the top of the page. The problem is that the banner is being displayed for all users and I would like the announcement to be displayed only for users that are located in an specific country (employment country). Is there a way to configure an announcement by using audiences or HR criterias?

Hello,

You can use the 'User Criteria for Service Portal' plugin to do this.  Here are the instructions.

Once you activate the plugin, turn on the system property, and create the appropriate user criteria records as described in the documentation, you'll be able to go to the 'Announcement' form and add the 'Can view' and 'Cannot view' related lists to associate an announcement with lists of user criteria showing who has access.  You'll also need to make sure the 'Public' checkbox on the 'Announcement form isn't checked so that you can see the related lists.
