Smart assessments in Privacy Management

Hi All,

 I have a legacy assessment and i have migrated the legacy assessment to smart assessment using the smart assessment migration toll and when i using the Assessment in the privacy management I have created the new Assessment under the assessment template configurations and i have selected the Migrated Smart assessment and when i clicked on Save only Question section is Available and under that there is not questions which are already there in the smart assessment  .

Hi Buddy,

This is likely not an issue with the migration.

When you migrate a legacy assessment to a Smart Assessment using the migration tool, the questions are migrated into the Smart Assessment definition, but they are not automatically pulled into Privacy Management assessment templates.

So when you create a new assessment under Assessment Template Configuration and select the migrated Smart Assessment, the template itself doesn’t inherit the existing questions. That’s why you only see the Questions section and it’s empty.

In short:

  • The Smart Assessment does contain the questions

  • The Privacy Assessment Template does not automatically reference them

  • The migration tool does not wire migrated questions to Privacy templates

To use it in Privacy Management, you’ll need to either:

  • Create a new Smart Assessment template and re-add the questions, or

  • Manually rebuild the assessment template using the migrated Smart Assessment as a reference

This is a known functional gap in the migration process, not a misconfiguration.
