Software Entitlements module is missing in the Application Navigator

The software Entitlements module is missing in the Application Navigator under Software Asset ->Licensing ->Software Entitlements ->. We are only able to navigate through it using alm_license.LIST .What could be the reason for it?

@Devika  

do you expect it to be available in left nav?

if yes then check if OOTB module exist for this or not?

if yes then check the role etc

if not then it might not be coming OOTB with the plugin you installed

Try repairing the SAM plugin once and test it again.

Hi @Devika  

 

1. First check whether you have following role.

2. As per KB : KB0954683 Users cannot see 'Software Asset' module in Application Navigator 

 

Resolution

  1. Go to Filter Navigator > Application Menus
  2. Search form 'Software Asset'
  3. Look for the roles.
  4. Go to the user that has the issue and add the role from Step 3
  5. Now, the user will be able to see 'Software Asset'
