Hey everyone,
I noticed in the service portal that the service catalog doesn't seem to support sub categories. All the subcategories in the catalog are in the sidebar with the main categories. Is there a way to change that? Or would I have to write something custom?

Yes... that is how it works in the Service Portal haha... I've already raised it as an issue with the team. The same problem exists in knowledge base. I'm working on a new set of widgets for Service Portal that addresses these issues along with several others. If you're interested shoot me an email I can show you some of what we've done.

Hi Breyton,
How you describe it is how the out of box widget works. There is no special configuration for it, you would need a custom widget to support the nested subcategory / category structure. You might want to talk to nathanfirth who has already done quite a bit in this space.
