Subcategories in service portal catalog

Hey everyone,

I noticed in the service portal that the service catalog doesn't seem to support sub categories. All the subcategories in the catalog are in the sidebar with the main categories. Is there a way to change that? Or would I have to write something custom?

Yes... that is how it works in the Service Portal haha... I've already raised it as an issue with the team. The same problem exists in knowledge base. I'm working on a new set of widgets for Service Portal that addresses these issues along with several others. If you're interested shoot me an email I can show you some of what we've done.

Hey Nathan, we've been prototyping our new service portal and our users had no idea to click and display subcategories. Was wondering if you would be willing to share your category widget? It would even be helpful, if clicking on the category would display the subcategory above the items on the SC Category Page widget.
