My PDI was enabled last night, and I haven't done anything else on the system other than hit "Let's go", which takes me to "App Engine Studio", then I click "Create App", put in a name and it can't create the app because of this error. Can't even get started! This is my first go around with ServiceNow. I've reset my PDI, but that was no help. I've closed and restarted, and that was no help either. I've logged in, logged out, logged in, over and over, and it still comes up with the error with barely any other clicks. I've tried in multiple browsers. Am I missing something? Did I request a PDI incorrectly? Is ServiceNow really this buggy?????

Hi,
Understood. Thanks for providing all that info.
From what you've tried, at least one of those should have worked.
Based on that, I'd try again a bit later and see (and no, normally, ServiceNow isn't that buggy to have that issue going on -- I think it may be something with the PDI still processing or something like that).
Please consider marking my reply as Helpful and/or Accept Solution, if applicable. Thanks!

Hi,
What name did you put in? By looking at that error, it's seems like you're trying to name your scoped app the same name as one that already exists within the platform (or something like that?). Can you try a completely different and unique name and see if that works?
Otherwise, it seems like your PDI may still be initializing and something has been fully setup and you may want to wait a little bit longer...per the outcome from this thread: https://www.servicenow.com/community/developer-forum/error-creating-app-in-app-engine-studio/m-p/206...

Hi Allen, thank you for your response...
I've tried "test", "test1", "my test app", "FRS1", "FMU test1", "12345", "Forms Management System" and a few others.

Awesome. Thank you again. I'll try again later and see if it helps. I guess I was just too excited to try out ServiceNow, like, NOW. LOL. Thank you.
