Hi experts,
Is the UI builder meant for record creation?
If so, are there best practices to follow?

Hey,
It's only my opinion, but whilst you CAN use this for record creation, I personally wouldn't unless there was a really strong use case - there are a number of out of the box and pre(or semi) configured options you can use which are much easier to maintain or change than something custom in the ui builder.
As I say, just my opinion 🙂

Check out the App Engine Studio. It allows generating a functioning workspace quickly that allows the users to fulfill tasks and give users multiple options to create records. (via the top menu, via the list menu, via the record list component). You can also easily create a catalog item using the catalog item builder and launch the catalog item via the catalog item component in UIB.

Hi,
Glad you got assistance. By the way, it's not necessary to "bait" people in to replying by adding the "easy points" suffix to your posts. Since you seem to keep doing that on your posts (this isn't the first time), I figured I'd offer that up.
Thanks and take care!
