About to import departments. We do not have defined business units. My doubt is whether we should stay with the defined data source structure or conforming to ServiceNow data model (OOTB). It seems all the tables that have business unit also have a department field in ServiceNow.
So e.g. could be two ways. First:
Department (parent): Marketing
Department (child): Communications
Department (child): SEO
Department (parent): Manufacturing
Department (child): Production
Department (child): Quality Assurance
Or
Business Unit: Marketing
Department (parent): Communications
Department (parent): SEO
Business Unit: Manufacturing
Department (parent): Production
Department (parent): Quality Assurance
