If your users make amendments to their homepage, like adding or removing content, the system will save them their own bespoke version of the page named 'My <homepage name>'. So if they change the 'ITIL Homepage' they will have their own copy saved called 'My ITIL Hompage'.
You can see all the homepages in the pages module of the homepage admin application. You can see which users have customised their homepages in there.
