As the name suggests: be hired as a specialist for implementing some ServiceNow platform feature (or the platform itself) into a customer site that meets the agreed work at the expected quality to deliver real business value for them at the time/effort/costs agreed.
Essentially, SN customers lack the necessary skills and expertise to perform platform deployments/customisations, so you'll be parachuted into place to do this for them. It's not just about knowing the product well, it's also about customer engagement, awareness of the customer's vision and business objectives versus realising their project plan, holding discussions with customers to put them into a more informed position and delivering products and changes that enable the customer to gain the maximum benefit from the platform.
You'll an ambassador for ServiceNow, and are performing work on their behalf for one of their customers. Consequently, there's quite a lot of importance on getting it right.

I hope so, too!
Bear in mind that there are a number of implementation courses. There's the basic CIS one, ensuring you're aware of project sensibilities, SAIF, roles and responsibilities etc - then there are more specific courses per product or component, like CIS-ITSM or CIS-SecOps.
The latter are generally available for partners that are doing work on ServiceNow's behalf, and you'll need to attend and pass the standard CIS offering before progressing onto more subject-specific areas.
Hope that helps! Are you thinking of getting into this field?
