Why search source on portal is not working?

Hi All,

We are using demand management in our instance. Recently we have developed portal and wanted to add demand table in search sources of service portal.

I have created search source for dmn_demand table, but still it is not retrieving results.Giving the message "Hold on, your results are loading..." page is taking infinite time.

I have tried to generate text_index for this table also - dmn_demand which extend task table. But still we are not getting results.

Can you please help us on this if you worked on it.

If your demand table has lot of records then try adding some filters to search sources and try searching

The number of records is very less, count 202.

Are you using scripts in search sources ?

Try regenerating your text indexes as well.

Hi,

Did you create a contextual search for it? if not then create it and provide its ID in the search source. then it will start working. Please check the below URL. also check for the existing search source configuration.
