I've modified a flow using Workflow Studio to add a task. But now, the approval flow above the tasks isn't creating an approval record when I try it in the portal. However, testing the flow with the same RITM from Workflow Studio does initiate the approval as intended. The flow is published, and no catalogue policies or scripts are configured. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions on how to fix this issue. Thanks.

Has the RITM been created after the flow was published? Check the flow execution on that RITM. It should show you what happened.
If it was created before the flow was published, it is still in the old flow, so the changes won't apply.

Yes, the RITMs were tested after the flow was published. I'm not sure why a flow test kickstarts the approval.

Unfortunately, the issue hasn't been resolved as the RITMs were created after the flow was published.
