Additional Comments in Activity tab

Hi, under 'My Requests' > 'Activity' tab the 'additional comments' displays for an RITM.  Does anyone know where this is configured and if it is possible to display the 'additional comments' displayed on a SCTASK.

Many thanks

Max

Hi @CCZMAX1,

this is configured in Standard Ticket Configuration for the "sc_req_item" table.

It's generally possible for every type of record, but I strongly recommend you not to involve users in  catalog tasks (as far as I remember task doesn't belong to the user, hence to see it the itil license will be required => expensive), just pull Additional Comments from the RITM on the task form and leave comments there directly in RITM.

Hi Ivan, thank you for this.  I can see how it is configured now. I may not have worded my question correctly.  I don't want to change how it currently works but instead add the content of the 'additional details' field I have added to the SCTASK form into the activity tab like it does for the 'additional details' field on the request item form.

Not sure if this is possible as I could not get it to work.

Many thanks

Max

Hey @CCZMAX1 ,

I've missed your comment somehow, probably due to my vacation around that time, sorry for that. Have you solved it?

If not, I need to ask you to illustrate it for me as I still not really get it what is it you want to achieve.

Regards, Ivan

Hi Ivan, thank you for your reply.  I was able see how this worked.  But our requirements changed  so this is no longer required.
