After clone new widgets then how to Replace OOTB widget with custom widget in servicenow?

if the not able to edit the old widget (eg:standard ticket tab)

how to resolve this issue ?

If you click on the "Instance 1" in front of that widget and scroll to the bottom, you can change the widget to yours there. I'm not sure why it doesn't show up in Designer, but I have the same issue in my PDI.

In page designer is blank if i drag an drop the new widget then alignment was changed..?

  • Think page designer showing a simple web page on its main content frame with header and footer.
  • You can try to open existing pages to learn how pages are showing in page designer.
  • For your case my guess is you need to add a container first between header and footer.
  • In page designer you can add widget by adding a container first then layout box, and then widget inside them.
