Hey team,
We are building out our Taxonomies for our migration away from Service Portal and move to Employee Center. I have a use case where they would like Child Topic 1 of Onboarding to be under both the IT and HR Parent Topics. The organization handles Contractors differently than Employees and the onboarding starts in different places. From what I see, it looks like the Child Topic 1 can only have 1 parent.
Has anyone had a use case where a Child Topic needed to have multiple Parent Topics and if so how did you handle it? Worse case we would make an IT Onboarding and HR Onboarding but we would want that as a last resort.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @Ethan Metcalf ,
You can always create child topics under a parent topic!!
Below i have created a child topic of "Hardware" which belongs to "IT" topic in HR Parent topic.
What you need to do is use "New" under child topic tab in the parent topic to create.

Hi @Ethan Metcalf, the parent topic field is reference field, so you can only have one parent for Child Topic 1.
You can use the clone UI Action on the topic page which will allow you to make a copy and change the parent topic. But apart from that, I can't see an easy way to get around this.
