Document Template on Employee Center via Catalog Item

I need for an employee to select a catalog item from EC Portal and fill it out, sign and submit the PDF (Document Template). Does anyone know how to accomplish this? I've read in documentation that you can allow employees to complete a document from Employee Center but I can't figure out how to make the Document Template available there.
I have created a Document Template using a fillable PDF, mapped the fields and added participants. I've created a Record Producer. HR Service and an HR Template. The Document Template is on the HR Template. I don't know what to do next.

Thanks but I've already read the same thing on the Documentation site and I've tried both ways listed below but the document is not generating, so I think there must be something else to it.
Automatic
If the "Automatically Create Draft Document" case option on the HR service is set, when a case is created with that HR service and its state is changed to Work in Progress or Ready, a task gets automatically generated for the employee with the document available for signing. In case of the new Document Template, the case option is "Automatically Initiate Document Tasks".
