So I'm running into a common problem regarding governance of catalog items and the content within them. Ranging from which icons are used to the data in the meta field etc.
My current customer has a visual design system where icons are strictly defined and well over 100 catalog items needs to be updated to refrect these icons.
However, these catalog items are in several different application scopes, custom and OOTB scopes.
And publishing these are risky as they might contain apps that aren't ready for production yet.
Update sets will produce skipped records..
Does anyone have any input on this?
If only there was a global option to get the icons for each catalog item from the catalog category instead of each item.
