How to add/associate knowledge articles to Employee center Portal? how to remove/hide portal footer?

Hi,

 

1. There are 727 Published articles, how to add these articles to Employee center Portal?

How to create different categories/Topics and associate them to articles?

 

2. How to hide this footer widget?

3. How to change the logo here?

I want to add our company logo

Note - We are migrating from Service Portal to Employee center. We are doing the changes right now.

Hello @Vaishnavi35 ,

 

1. for KB_articles go to Topic --> Connected Contents --> New --> content_type --> knowledge --> choose KB article.

2. Navigator -->service porta --> Theme --> EC Theme --> as per ur requirement remove the footer.

3. For logo --> Type portals in navigator --> select "employee center portal" --> click to add logo.

OR u can do from branding editor.

Go to service portal configuration --> Branding Editor --> select "Employee Center".

Hi there,

 

For the footer there are multiple ways. One could be, opening your Portal record, open the Theme record, and remove the value from the Footer field.

 

Replacing the logo: Also for this, see the Portal record. You will have a Logo and Icon field there.

 

For adding Knowledge Articles / Catalog Items to the menu structure: Add Connected Content. You can find this under Content Taxonomy > Connected Content.

Can we see the published knowledge article in portal without having the connected topic/assigned topic, how this can be possible ?

You can add "Page": kb_view."

In the menu item

OR

In Quick Links

OR

In the "icon link" widget, same as in the service portal.
