how to we add human resourse to servicenow portal ESC

Hi Team,

I'm configuring HRSD module, can you please let us know how to bring HR services present in platform to ESC, I couldn't even see service catalog in my ESC. Please assist with steps.

 

When I opening  my PDI and looking for ESC Human Resourse https://dev337454.service-now.com/esc After this the only technical services are shown but i want to show Human resourse  first and technical service 2nd

Hi @nirbhay803 ,

 

OOB Catalog Items related to HR Services does not show up on the ESC portal. The reason behind this is the catalog items are not connected/added to any topic. A catalog item should be connected/related to a taxonomy topic to show up on the EC.

 

Follow the steps to add the catalog items to topics:

 

  1. Navigate to All > Service Catalog > Catalog Definition > Maintain Items
  2. Open the Catalog Item related to HR Service
  3. Scroll to the Assigned Topic (Related List)
  4. Click Add
  5. Select the Topic from the options
