Mega Menu Disappears in Employee Center

I'm new to this but understand taxonomies. When I clone the employee taxonomy to try to experiment with the mega menu. I simple rename Technology Services to Tech Services and the menu just disappears. I have it set in the Portal Settings in Employee Center. I don't understand what I'm doing incorrect.
I have watched this video from Employee Center Academy and followed the little bouncing ball and it's still not working.
Anyone able to assist or have things I should check?
I'm using a Developer Instance of Washington DC and Employee Center has been updated to the latest version

How did you solve this problem? I was able do make my new taxonomy appear finally when creating a brand new portal.

After a long time searching for the solution, I found it!!!
1. Search for Advanced Portal Navigation
2. Enter the Employee Center Record
3. Click on Sync Hierarchy, and the new Topics/Taxonomies created will appear
IMPORTANT NOTES
- I cloned the OOTB Taxonomy, didn't create a new one from scratch.
- After the Sync finishes > run the script "gs.invalidateCache()" on a background script > Log out and Login
