Search Option in My to Dos Widget

In My To-do Widget, I wanted to add a Search filter. Is there any OOB way to achieve it?

I have a question though, Let say we are creating a custom widget for the Todo Configuration mapping ,how to get the sys_id of the current record in this custom widget
