Topic Page Search including items outside of Topic?

I have a customer who is enabling Search on a Topic Page and is saying that when they search the topic page, the search results are including more than just the items on the topic page. Are there common items to troubleshoot in an instance like this?

I have similar issue.  We have had the topic page search available for a few months.  We noticed inconsistent results when searching.  Would not return and item on the topic page we felt was obvious match.  

We just upgraded our lower instances to Vancouver and are using EC PRO v 28.0.3 and EC & EC Core are on version 30.0.2.  We are now noticing that the topic page search is returning content from other topic pages similar to the portals main AI Search bar.  For instance, we were in the Benefits topic page and searched for an item that appears under a different topic page and it returned the item.

In Prod, since we have not upgraded yet, we still get the inconsistent/lesser results returned, but in our Vancouver instance, we get almost a full AI search results across all topic pages.  Does the EC versions impact this?  Is this a new approach to topic page search?

We are also facing similar issues. But I do not see any solution regarding this anywhere. Please let me know if you find something.
