We are migrating from SharePoint to Employee Center for our company intranet. Looking at all of the links we have for quick access to various sites used across the company, are there any best practices around whether to set up an external link under a Web Application or Quick Link? Unless the external site uses SSO, it's not clear which area to set up the link.
Thanks!

@DTrishman - I do not have any advice for your specific question, but I would like to invite you to join the EX Platform for the Modern Intranet special interest group. We have over 1,200 members and growing quickly. SharePoint is also one of the most common intranet portals customers switch for EC Pro and SharePoint Transition/Migration Strategies is the topic of our next SIG meeting on September 10th. I encourage you to register for that event using the link in the featured blog on our Community Page.

@DTrishman - I would say it depends. If it is a particular page or external content that you want users to navigate to, then maybe Quick Link is better. If it is purely an application/site landing page then configuring it as Web Applications is likely better as, with an SSO integration, the transition is seamless and doesn't require re-authentication.
