Digital Integrations - Operational Record?

We have been researching the Digital Integrations module to build records of the integration between different applications.  One of the use cases that we have is to be able to use Event management to create Incidents that relate to an Integration record.  From what I can see though, there are no operational CI records created from the Digital Integrations.  I think there was another post where they said this was on the roadmap, but that was a couple years ago.  Can someone validate if there is a roadmap item for ServiceNow to create Operational CI records for the "Digital Integration" records?  Otherwise, is there any direction for how to operationalize those records?

Hi,

Currently there is an operational component to the API (CMDB_API), however we still discuss the operational component for the integration itself.

On Sept 7, we released a new CI Class update in the store with additional API CI classes that should be used for operational purposes going forward.  We also have a blog on the CMDB forum that details what @vNick has been working on to integrate API Gateway information to populate those CIs.  https://www.servicenow.com/community/cmdb-blog/innovation-lab-storing-apis-and-api-gateway-informati...
