I would like to know how APM relates to the hardware and software models. how/ where will I see the business application version and how do these get populated?
I know this is a very basic question, Just started explore APM and the Basics of these data models.
The relationship between server and sw/he is usually happening as part of the ServiceNow visibility (discovery), and APM is leveraging this, to calculate the business risk regarding end of life (end of support dates)

Can you explain this in detail ? for example, I have an application ex: "Accessstage" and I have all its downstream and upstream relationships and Architecture type is web, and application type ins COTS and the platform is in windows. now how does this SW/HW model come into this APM? I see the only option in the form is model id. is this some thing that needs to be done?
