Steps to Configure Fields on Task Cards and Side Panel in Dispatcher Workspace

Adding Fields to the Task Card in the Task Panel in Dispatcher Workspace

1. Navigate to the app_cmn_field_set table.
This opens the Application Field Sets.

2. Open the record named "Dispatcher Workspace Task Card".

3. In the Application Field Set Items related list, click the New button to add the required field to display on the task card. You can add Work Order Task Fields and Work Order Field by dot- walking.

4. You can add Work Order Task fields directly or dot-walk to Work Order fields (e.g., work_order.account).

5. Once added, you will see the Work Order Account displayed on the task card in the task panel within the Dispatcher Workspace.

Adding Fields to the Task Card in the Side Panel in Dispatcher Workspace

In a similar process, you can add the required field to the Task Info card or Side Panel card.

1. Open the record named "Dispatcher Workspace Task Info" from the Application Field Sets.

2. In the Application Field Set Items related list, click the New button to add the field you want to display on the Task Info card.

3. You can add Work Order Task fields directly or use dot-walking to include Work Order fields (e.g., work_order.account, work_order.short_description).

Alternatively, you can navigate to:
All > Field Service > Dispatcher Workspace Configuration > Task Info Fields.
This will directly open the Dispatcher Workspace Task Info field set, where you can add the necessary fields.

Once added, you will see the Work Order Account and Work Order Short Description displayed on the task card in the contextual side panel within the Dispatcher Workspace.

Application Field Sets is the central place to configure the Task Card, Task Info Card in the Contextual Side Panel, Agent Info Card, and Dispatcher Workspace Event Body.

Note: To see the changes take effect, log out and log back in to the instance.

Hi @Chandu Kumar Ba,

If "Default show" is set to true, the Auto-refresh option will be enabled.

However, if both "Always show" and "Default show" are set to true, the Auto-refresh option will appear as enabled but greyed out (non-editable).

Thanks, it worked once I set both 'Always show' and 'Default show' to true, then logged out and logged back in.
