Hi All,
We have the following ACL on the Incident Table
I have then created the following ACL to allow write on a certain field on incident for people with the u_mim role at any state including closed.
When the log is in a state of resolved people with the u_mim role can still write in this field, but when the state is closed the field is showing as read only. I've debugged on security rules and it appears to be the first ACL that is causing this. I'm not sure how to amend this as I only want the people with u_mim to be able to amend a couple of fields when state is closed and not all the fields on the incident form.

Hi Sam,
Did you try including the ITIL role as well in the ACL which you have created ?
If not please check that.
Thanks

I've just tried with ITIL added in but the same happens. What amendments do I need to make to the original ACL to stop it affecting these fields?

Why can't you edit the existing ACL instead of creating a new one? That would solve the confusion.

Hi,
I'm not sure what amendments to make to the exsitsting ACL in order to achieve this.
I need only people with role u_mim to be able to still write in 5 fields on incident when the log is in any state including closed. I only want them to be able to amend these 5 fields with all the other fields still becoming read only.
the 5 fields are :
u_defect_reported_in
u_defect_introduced_in
u_defect_fixed_in
u_defect_back_fixed_in_1
u_defect_back_fixed_in_2
