Audit management state field if any open issues

As per our requirement, engagement records do not require any approval.

In OOTB behavior, if there are open issues or tasks, the engagement moves to the Follow Up state. However, when an issue is closed, the engagement is getting closed automatically.

Our requirement is that closing an issue should not close the engagement. I checked the system and found the Audit Utils Script Include, but I could not find any Business Rule that updates the engagement state.

Could not find the Ootb behaviour

Hi,

if i got you right, this might be what you are looking for:

1. Go to sn_audit_engagement.CONFIG in you Application Picker or System Definition>Business Rules
2. Search for Auto-close if no issues or tasks
3. Change behaviour to your liking

As @Matthias Ferstl  suggested Make the business rule Auto-close if no issues or tasks   inactive or Create a function "hasOpenTasks" and return false in the "sn_audit.AuditUtilsBase" script include.  

This will fulfill your requirement
