How do I add a business prosses in the continuity management module? I have tried through Planning and the BIA and cannot figure it out. I see the table for business prosses, but there is nothing there. It appears to be in Enterprise Architecture, but how do the business processes get added to the table? Shouldn't that be a function of a BIA? I would appreciate any guidance. I've looked at all the training and you tube videos I can find and none of them tell you how to get the business processes into the system. thanks so much for any guidance!!

@catherinecpr1 you have to create a record in the business_process table. Some customers build a "new" button on the dependency view though to create a business process directly from the BIA

Hi @catherinecpr1 ,
I hope this information is helpful. Please follow these three steps:
Manage Business Processes as an APM admin:APM Business Processes Documentation
Create an Element Definition for Business Processes—note that overlapping definitions are not supported. Some organizations limit definitions to root processes or L0 levels.
Element definitions are available in both BIA (Dependency Assessment) and Plan Scope. A BIA is not required to create a plan; you can directly create a plan and add primary or dependent scopes. However, understanding RTO/RPO for your element beforehand is recommended to establish clear recovery targets.
Cheers,
Vijeta
