DemoHub Strategy

Hey all. Just wanted to see how the community is using DemoHub. I have a DemoHub instance but don't really utilize it so I'm looking for the strategies that you all employ. The narratives seem unclear to me so even when I did use the DemoHub app, I would simply use it as another instance with Demo Data.

 

Also... do you all update Plug-in versions? I haven't really dug into how to manage the instance all that much. I presume you still have to manage the instance and the plugins the same way you would with any other instance.

Thank you for your reply. I believe I may not have expressed my question properly. I'm not looking into understanding what DemoHub is, who has access to it, or how to get access to it. I already have all that information.

 

What I'm trying to understand from the members of the community, is how those who do have access to DemoHub (Employees, Partners, Customers with appropriate access) are utilizing it and how they are managing it. What are their strategies for using the instance? I'm not finding much value in DemoHub narratives so I'm trying to learn how others are so I can use it properly.

This is a very good question. 😄
Demohub is my go-to for every first product presentation to customers. 

Let's imagine I receive a request from my customer that they want to know more about Project Portfolio Management as an answer for their specific use case, by leveraging Demohub I can support my product/solution presentation by offering an in-system sneak peek into a scenario prepared by ServiceNow (in which I can potentially even add some client-specific data or processes).
If I were to do it from scratch, the product installation and the preparation of supporting data for PPM (Ideas, demands, resource plans, resource groups, fiscal periods, projects, templates, portfolios, etc) would take me a couple of days. With Demohub I can have everything ready in hours only.
It is a huge gain of time and effort without any work required on the client's instance 🙂

I just heard from ServiceNow support that https://demohub.service-now.com this is only for ServiceNow email address and not for customers and partners.
