Hello Experts,
Has anyone came up with a solution to delegate an attestation to another person, when he/she is not available?
I have checked with ServiceNow, and they confirm, they dont have that option out of box.
So I wanted to check, if anyone has a custom solution.

You could try unlocking the "Attestation respondents" and add a another person.

You would have to re-cycle the control anyway, which may be the most appropriate thing in this case.
However.. the purpose may be to temporarily delegate and keep the existing owner and respondents as is.

Adding another person to attestation respondents will create another attestation. And then all the attestation respondents will have to submit the attestation. Attestation respondents doesn't work like delegate. Instead it creates another attestation.

I assumed he meant to replace the existing but I appreciate this will cause manual steps.
There is a very strong use case for using multiple respondents, if you consider to use the category filtering by role - actually presents a very compelling solution; but this does require to have everyone in the loop and focused on completing their assigned assessment instances.
In your case, a more robust approach to delegation is required.
There is delegation feature built in for things like notifications and approvals, based on planned holidays etc, but this does not extend to assessments.
