Reminder Notification to be sent to approver if he has not approved

Hi all,

I have a list type field which will contain two approvers.Now I want to send a reminder notification to the approver who has not approved the form yet.How may I check whether the approver has approved the form or not?What condition do I need to put here?

Can it be achieved through flow designer?If yes then what exact condition I need to put over there?

hello @Swapnil Soni ,

This is very helpful for me and i have 2 questions

1) For me the reminder notifications should be sent after 2 days of request made and this will be  after 2 days and again if not approved it will send on 3rd 4th 5th.... so on rgt untill they approve as this schedule job runs everyday

2)who will receive we have event parameter 1 and it will be for the approvers rgt( in our case we have so many approvers for a single item) 

in case of multiple approvers it will work rgt( in workflow we have a condition that if anyone approves then it is enough).

Please guide me i am a beginner and correct me if i am wrong.

Hey Tejaswini,

For your 1st question, yes you are right it will trigger everyday after 2 days as you set the condition every day.

For your 2nd question, If you want to send notification for multiple user you can create a list and push all user in this list and in place of parm1 you give list . SO that all users getting notified.

Hello,

we have a 4 catalog items that needs to be approved by 2 users( The location head and the location cheif and we have a approval user activity set in the workflow as below

answer = [];

var lochead=current.variables.variable_name.location.u_location_head;

var locdirector=current.variables.variable_name.location.u_location_director;

var triggerapproval=lochead+','+locdirector;

answer.push(triggerapproval);

)))

and in the notification that we have configured to send to the customer i have used the field "approver" .

In this case i can use "Approver" rgt and no need to add the list in the parm1 rgt,

Please guide i am wrong, i am beginner.

yes if you select user or group then no need to add something in parm1 .. directly notification will send to user only.
