Risk Portal

I asked our consultant about the Risk Portal within ServiceNow GRC. I thought this looked like a good tool for customer engagement but my consultant was a little reluctant to use it.

Does anyone have any experience in using it and the benefit you get against the standard tool approach?

Thanks in advance

Hi David,

May i know what are the reasons they mentioned for their reluctances ?

As in what is the challenge they are facing ?

Refer to this doc which should help you :https://docs.servicenow.com/en-US/bundle/sandiego-governance-risk-compliance/page/product/grc-worksp...

Mark my answer correct & Helpful, if Applicable.

Thanks,

Sandeep's link is for the latest Risk specific portal capabilities released in SanDiego.  However, if you have Employee Center, we also released an integrated 'widget' that embeds Risk and Compliance into your broader consolidated Employee Experience.

Depending on your situation, both are purpose-built solutions.

Thank you. We have the latest build. But thank you for the info.

Even i love to use Risk Portal, when i look for reason to not use Risk Portal may be i can think off mapping GRC business user role to access  Risk Portal. this role may expose other modules/application as well

Ok I got them to enable it and I can raise a risk through it but where does the questionnaire/assessment sit in the system by default.

I would like to change the questionnaire to my own if possible.

The "Risk Portal" was developed before the workspaces.  The primary use case was for business users to complete tasks. I recently attended a GRC Implementation training during the class the Employee Center is now the primary use case business users to complete tasks. In short, the "Risk Portal" will eventually be deprecated since the direction is for business users to use the Employee Center.  Following the release roadmap might will help in planning to transition to the Employee Center and when not to upgrade and lose the "Risk Portal" if in use.
