Hello,

We are new with BCM and are looking for:

1) A difference between simulation and functional exercice.

2) In simulation exercice, what is the difference between Plan tab and plantask tab.

Hi Lyly bat,

1. Simulation exercise can be used when you don't want to execute the plan by assigning the recovery tasks to the task owners. But you want to review the plan with a smaller group of participants and identify any corrective actions.

2. A functional exercise can be used when you intend to execute the plan and involve all the task owners by assigning them the recovery tasks in an exercise mode.

3. The plan tasks tab seems to be an additional configuration in your instance (maybe during implementation). This is not part of the out of the box product.
