Hi All,
We have encountered an issue where Asset records are not being created from CI.
We have verified model category (Windows Server). When we click on "Create Assets" from Model Category, we get the message "Job Submitted to create asset for the category" however there's no link to verify this Job.
Requirement is to create asset records for all Servers discovered in CMDB and makes sure Asset records are created for new Servers.
Is there anything I am missing?
Appreciate your response.

Sure, here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
1. **Check the Discovery Log**: The first step is to check the Discovery Log to see if there are any errors or warnings related to the creation of Asset records from CI.
2. **Verify the Model Category**: Make sure that the Model Category is correctly set up and that it is associated with the correct CI Class.
3. **Check the Job Queue**: The message "Job Submitted to create asset for the category" indicates that a job has been submitted to the job queue. You can check the status of this job in the System Diagnostics > Stats > Job Queue.
4. **Check the Asset Creation Rules**: There are rules defined in ServiceNow for creating Asset records from CI. Make sure these rules are correctly set up and that they are not being blocked by any other rules or conditions.
5. **Check the Asset and CI Relationship**: Make sure that the relationship between the Asset and CI is correctly defined. This relationship is crucial for the creation of Asset records from CI.
6. **Check the Discovery Schedule**: Make sure that the Discovery Schedule is correctly set up and that it is running at the expected times. If the Discovery Schedule is not running as expected, it could be the reason why Asset records are not being created from CI.
7. **Check the Asset Management Plugin**: Make sure that the Asset Management Plugin is installed and activated. This plugin is required for the creation of Asset records from CI.
8. **Check the Asset Data**: Make sure that the data in the Asset records is correct and up-to-date. If the data is incorrect or outdated, it could be the reason why Asset records are not being created from CI.
9. **Check the CI Data**: Similarly, make sure that the data in the CI records is correct and up-to-date. If the data is incorrect or outdated, it could be the reason why Asset records are not being created from CI.
10. **Contact ServiceNow Support**: If you have checked all of the above and the issue still persists, it might be a good idea to contact ServiceNow Support for further assistance.

Please refer below.
The Model of the CI is set to "Don't create Assets"Click through to the related Model. Check the 'Asset tracking strategy' field. If the value is "Don't Create Assets" then change it to "Leave to the category" Manually create an Asset record, and link it to the CI before submitting the form.
And Refer the below KB Article, this will resolve your issue.
