cmdb_ci are getting updated when asset is updating as per ci-asset synchronization

Hi  Everyone,

 

As per the synchronization on Asset-CI, Some fields are updating on CI when Asset is updated. This is expected behavior as per BRs available for synchronization.

 

The updates on CI are happening only on friday early morning hours. we are assuming its because of assets records might be updating. to confirm this we dont have audit log enabled on the asset fields(like supprt group,gl account, assigned) . But the fields that re syncing/updating on ci are only available on asset table(as we can confirm these are updates from asset table only).

 

is there a way that we can identify through which process asset records are updating and then passing the updates to CI record?

the CI records getting updated are with system user?

Any scheduled job, flow or workflow etc is bringing in asset info and updating it which is causing CI to update?

yes they are updating with the name system. Also, I can see they are bringing in asset info.
