Content Library Lifecycle Phase detail

Hi,

Does anyone know how SN obtains the Lifecycle Phase detail (End of Life, End of Sale, etc.) from the manufacturers? We have a significant number of models for which this data is missing, some old but some newer as well. (Yes, models are fully normalized.) If SN is just 'slow' to update these, can they be obtained by the manufacturers themselves? Looking specifically for Dell, Lenovo, HP, and Apple.
