Hardware Model maintenance active = false

good day and sorry if this question has been asked, I did try to search.

I am looking for how/when does a hardware model's active flag go from true to false.   I am trying to clean up the widgets on the dashboards and EOL within our lower environment.

Thanks in advance

Hello,

I think it may depend on your environment and what has / has not been installed or configured. The first two places I would check is in the CMDB Data Manager to see if someone had configured a policy in there for it to be adjusted. The second place I would check is if the Life cycle management functionality is being used as I think there are entries in there that may cover the end of life for a product. It's also possible someone created a custom job that runs and does the update based upon some logic. Hope that may help.
