You can just look with related meta data. for example if you wanna search policy related article then you can type in search like "HR Policy document". it will give you all article related to this keyword.
But article are controlled like who can see and who can not see. if you are under criteria to see the article then only it will be displayed else it wont display for your.
So if you are sure that keyword you are searching for, related to that article are there and it is not showing for you then you can connect to HR for same who manage those article.
