Is My Understanding Correct About CIS-HAM Prerequisite?

Hi Community,

I recently learned that ServiceNow has updated the certification path for CIS-HAM.
From what I understand, you must first pass the CIS – Data Foundations (CMDB & CSDM) exam before you can appear for CIS-HAM.

My questions are:

1. Is this understanding, correct?
2. Is there any way to directly appear for the CIS-HAM exam without completing the Data Foundations certification?

Indeed this is very recent, and even impacts people with existing certs.

For you:
1) Correct
2) No not possible

Yes, from now on this is mandatory to complete the CIS – Data Foundations (CMDB & CSDM) certification.

Just another way of ServiceNow to collect money.
