Is My Understanding Correct About CIS-HAM Prerequisite?

Hi Community,

I recently learned that ServiceNow has updated the certification path for CIS-HAM.
From what I understand, you must first pass the CIS – Data Foundations (CMDB & CSDM) exam before you can appear for CIS-HAM.

My questions are:

1. Is this understanding, correct?
2. Is there any way to directly appear for the CIS-HAM exam without completing the Data Foundations certification?

Taking certifications has become cheaper last year. So why mentioning "another way to collect money"?

I am also not paying for any certification; it's paid by my company.

People are going to clear certification with dumps or any other ways, this is how so many are doing it.

Is this going to add any real value?
