Loaner Asset Order

Hello Guys,

I am facing an issue after submitting the Loaner Asset Order form that is, the waitlisted field is changing to true and the whole order is becoming on hold stating the worknotes as "insufficient stock". However, there are still assets whose state is instock in asset table. Can you please provide me some idea why this is happening?

FYI: The Location and Model fields are inactive and the values of those fields after submitting the request are becoming empty. I have seen script includes on this loaner asset order where these fields are used mostly as parameters in functions. Is this the cause for my issue?

There are a number of factors that can impact this feature. If I remember correctly, there is a glideaggregate function that creates the list. Typical reasons I have see this go to waitlist when our asset team things it should not.

• There are records "In stock" and "Available" but the asset function it not set to Loaner.
• The location is set to the same as a stockroom but is not part of the stockroom and has the "In stock" and "Available" states.
• The asset was loaned out previously and that loaner ticket has never been properly closed and reclaimed by the asset team so even though it is listed as "In stock" and "Available" the system knows that there is an open record with that asset attached to it.
