We have installed mid server on 2 VMs I am able to see them running from windows services however those are not showing up in ServiceNow instance

check if the firewall issue due to certificate validation from entrust

Are you sure you are looking in the right instance?
It's nearly impossible that the setup was completed successfully without the mids appearing in the instance.

it seems to be some firewall issue when we checked the agent logs as suggested by another member here

Then I guess you didn't use the normal setup, but adjusted the config files, and started it manually?
If it's a firewall issue, there is nothing you can do, besides involving a network team.

Go to the folder 'Agent--> logs' there you can find the reason why mid server is unable to communicate to the instance.
