Request item is moving to fulfilled state instead of close complete while using hardware request

Hi,

We are trying to order a hardware catalog item which has Standard Hardware Asset flow. After submitting the request, we are able to create the source request and purchase orders. After closing the purchase order, we are able to get the catalog task with the short description "Deploy asset to the user" on RITM.

Flow context shows the flow is waiting at the Create Catalog Task step

Now, once we close complete this catalog task, as per OOB flow it is expected that the request item state to be changed to Closed Complete. But we see the the RITM is changing to fulfilled state and the flow is still waiting at the Create Catalog Task step.

Can anybody help me here why RITM is not changing to closed complete?
