Hi All,
One of CI's (IP Router) 'Install status' has been updated to retired but this is not updating the Asset's state.
I have checked following things but could not able to identify the issue, can some one please provide the solution.
1. No code changes in OOB script include 'AssetAndCISynchronizer' and Business rule 'Update Asset fields on change' and are active.
2. alm_asset_ci_state_mapping has the mapping defined already from OOB.(Biderectional)
3. The user who has updated the install status of CI is an admin user
What might be the issue?
Do I need to have any mapping defined in alm_asset_ci_field_mapping table? as I don't see Install Status and State filed mapping in this table.
Do I need to enable 'Life cycle mapping'?
or anything else need to check or define?
Please suggest and Thank you in Advance.
Thank you,
nvlear9

Hi ,
For instance, the asset State field when updated is synchronized with the CI Install Status field, however if the CI Install Status field is changed, it is not synchronized with the asset State field.

Hi @learn nv ,
This is not an issue.
You can update the value of "State" on Asset. Then it will update the Install Status on CI.
