Hi Eswar,
Thanks for the update . But in my case 'in stock ' -'reserved' is changed to 'in use'. Will this happen because of SCCM

It happens because of asset lifecycle management processes. If it is changed to 'in use', the asset will have 'Assigned to' populated. Check the value in 'Assigned to' to find out the name of the assigned user. Then check for requests raised by that user. You might be able to find some asset related requests from the user whose completion would have changed the asset state.
