Does case creation work for creating a case via Record Producer/via Service Portal?

The Case creation UI dialog is separate from the record producers that create cases. You can build your record producers for each catalog item to function the same, but these are independent of each other.

Assuming we may have already customized our hr_case forms as developers, I presume we'd have to work a bit to get it back to an 'out of the box' version of the form to take advantage to all those dynamic form views and such?
